Dresden

We were in Dresden on Sunday, enjoyed Church with our friends and seeing our beloved Dresden again.

Spending Time with Marco and Selina
After church, we ate dinner with Marco and Selina and then they took us to this castle

Fonz and Linda touring the castle grounds.

Radebeul

This is the place where President Monson dedicated East Germany during the DDR time and where he always visited each time he returned. Marco had just finished reading us the Dedicatory Prayer, a very spiritual moment.

The Marker on a Nearby Archway

We pause a moment to enjoy this sacred and beautiful place.

Walking Away

Spending Time with Christina

Christina fed us a tasty meal at her apartment. This is her mother, who lives next door.

We found this car in front of the the guest apartment Christina provided for us. It is called a Trabi or Pappe which means paper. It really is made of cardboard. It was the only car people could afford during the DDR times and they had to put their name on a waiting list and wait about 10 years to get one.

We took her out for a wonderful Breakfast Buffet

We enjoyed another beautiful view of Dresden as we ate our breakfast.

These paintings are found on many of the utility boxes in all the cities we have been. We caught the artist in action here.

Our JAE Friends

We went to Breakfast at our favorite Department Store, Karstadt, with our beloved JAEs from the Dresden Center
