RUSSIAN CHOIR

This music is on a CD that we received at Christmas from a JAE in Dresden whose father works in the Freiberg Temple. It was given to him by a member from the Ukraine, saying it was a musical testimony of Jesus Christ from the Russian Saints, with the instructions to share with as many as possible. We love this music and hope you enjoy it too.

EARLY MORNING RE-DEDICATION ON THE RIVER

We got a call the evening before from Elder Stekkinger to be at the Haltesteller at 6:15 AM and to bring our "Standard of Excellence" and our Bahncards.

Elder Clawson carrying our "banner" on the Bahn.

A perfect place.

Elder Stekkinger read to us out of the "Gold Book" inspiring words about the people of Germany and why it is so important to find those who are searching for the truth. Quiet music played in the background.

He then had us find our own spot to meditate, pray and re-dedicate ourselves to the work here in the Berlin Mission. Sister Gill and Sister Liboschik walked down the river.

"Be still and know that I am God"

The sun came up as we were leaving, ready to go forward with renewed feelings of love and dedication.

TRANSFER DAY

Every six weeks missionaries are transferred within the Mission

On this transfer we had to say good bye to Elder Wittwer.

Waiting for the the Number 1 to take us to the Hauptbahnhof (train station)

Ready to board the train. Sister Gill took the bag so it would not be in the picture.....do you see it?

Elder Clawson arrives. Friends already.

A new beginning for the Magdeburg District.

CELESTIAL MISSIONARIES

...he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it.... In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives and our children.... and he fastened it on the end of a pole. .... he caused the" Title of Liberty" to be hoisted upon every tower which was in all the land: ...thus Moroni planted the "The Standard of Liberty" among the Nephites.
Alma 46:12,36

Elder Stekkenger requested that we all wear white for this special District meeting. Our Zone leaders were invited to be part of it. It was a spiritual experience as we sat in a circle and pondered about the Savior and our part in His plan.

Our role playing on his day was especially meaningful.

Sister Vasileva, Sister Gill, Sister Wells and Sister Liboschik, roommates and "sisters" forever.

These are the sisters in the two Berlin Zones that meet together for Zone Conference.

INSIDE THE DOM

The Dom was finally open to go inside. They were renovating it and many things were covered up. Actually it appeared that they were excavating beneath the floor and there were many big holes. We had to pay for a picture pass to take pictures. These are a few of the things we saw.

P-DAY ON THE BALL

A Walk on the Elbe River

This magnificent ball has clocks that tell the time of all the major rivers around the world. Our District Leader is on the ball. We follow his direction.

"If you can do it, I can do it!"

Hmmmm.....the river is inspiring. You can see the famous Dom in the background.

On the way we found a boy friend.
