574 Dresdner Striezelmarkt

This is the oldest and the biggest Christmas Markt in Germany. We were so happy they opened the night before we left and we were able to enjoy a little of it.

Glass ornaments in one of the huts.

This little video will give you a feeling of the night.

Beautiful pictures. I'm glad you had a chance to do Thanksgiving before you left. There was always a feeling for me about Thanksgiving that made me miss home--sometimes more than Christmas. All I could figure out is that maybe because it was the "beginning" of the Christmas season I made more of an impact.

Hope your move went more smoothly than the one getting to Germany! :)

Did you hear--LaRue Stuart retired at the end of Nov. Her new husband got a job back East and they moved to Conneticut.
