Entertainment

Missionaries Sing "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer"

Ian loves to share his talent and we all love to hear it

Some acted out the parts as a Christmas story was read.

Food

We had many sweet goodies to begin the celebration. Then we had visiting, a program and then a full meal with wonderful traditional German food. A 5 hour celebration.

The Highlight of the Evening

The Weihnachtsmann Arrives

Friends

A Surpirse !!

The next day our "brother" Rudy, from Park City, walked into church and surprised us. He was in Germany visiting family. Our brother, Fonz, baptized him and his wife, Hannelore in the 60s. Our parents sponsored them to come to America and they have been part of our family since then. This was a wonderful surprise and we had a great visit.

Erfurt Weihnachtsmarkt

We rode the train to Erfurt, the largest city in Thueringen (the state in which we reside), with Sabrina. She had promised to take us to the Christmas Market

On the way Sister Wells found a friend. This is Bernd das Brot ( Bernd the Bread). He is a very popular figure on Children's TV.

Our District came together on P-Day and had a Turkey and all the trimmings.

Sister Watts brought a pair of glasses with her and we all had fun with them.
